Research Interests:
Her research interests include the cultural, social, and developmental
influences on adolescents' college-planning behaviors and mothers' child
care practieces. Currently, she is coprincipal investigation on a
National Institutes of Health funded project examining the mental models
of type 2 diabetes among Latino students who are at risk for the
disease.
